Kayani Bakery was established in the year 1955 in Pune and began as a modest neighbourhood bakery rooted in traditional Parsi baking methods. From its early days, the bakery became known for its simple, honest flavours and freshly baked breads, cakes, and biscuits prepared using time-honoured recipes.

Located in the Camp area of Pune, Kayani Bakery gradually grew into a well-known name among locals, servicemen, students, and families living in and around the city. Over the decades, the bakery remained at its original location, earning a reputation for consistency, quality, and authenticity. While many establishments changed with time, Kayani Bakery continued to preserve its old-world charm and traditional style of baking.

Over the years, Kayani Bakery has attained legendary status in Pune, with people coming from far and wide to sample its iconic Mawa Cake, Shrewsbury biscuits, breads, rusks, and other classic bakery offerings. It is today regarded as one of the oldest surviving bakery establishments in Pune, and a landmark in the city’s culinary history.
